Victor
Miguel Barragán is a self-taught Mexican painter born in
Guadalajara, Jalisco. After he's Retired start to work in he's
painting. After ten years have enough workdone
to do he's first individual exposition in the House of culture
in Toluca Mexico. February
11 of 1999 is open to the public with the title "Characters,
Dreams and landscape. Same exposition travel to Villa Guerrero.
on March 19 1999. after put together some new work 23 July of
2000 exposition open with the title Diversity on Universes in
the Arcadio Pagaza museum.
The diversity
of the Barragan's work origin in the pre-hispanic iconography.
Characters from the literature, portraits of people in surreal
contexts, human-like animalsin, Fantasia composition, landscapes,
anthropology references, futuristic and symbolic.
